Who is a social media strategist, and what the value of this profession ?
My social media specialist, portfolio help understood what is the Strategist job role? My clients sometimes thought about social media, just advertising, and I can agree many pay-per-click marketing firms helps with it and that’s probably why so hard to find a job through LinkedIn, for example, this mindset probably spoiled the value of this profession.
Not once did my colleagues ask how to make a social media marketing portfolio, without spending money at PPC companies? I will define Strategist as an answer to a question 🙋♂️
For example:
Creating an advertising portfolio in Squarespace what problems I am solving? If I will be a Strategist at LinkedIn, and you still need to find a job, after the Pandemic started, I need to sell ads to survive. The same as me now, spending or making money using pay-per-click advertising, what kind of ads you will be looking for to find a job, right now; and where do you find money to pay for this advertisement?
