What Makes the User Experience an Important part of SEO, in COVID-19 Time?
Now I work from home because of COVID19. I have free time. Let’s stay home and research what my SEO strategies are and what a content strategist job is about? And in general, what is SEO?
To understand the meaning of the strategist’s job, I first conducted the Google search for the definition of this job. What I noticed was not the definition of the term “Content strategist” but an advertisement containing the term.
I know what is the value of quality content, for Strategist roul, but how is it possible to speak about content marketing strategy when the pandemic started?
It is provided with an advertising marketing calendar template, with free sign up, isn’t it interesting?
Should I buy and read more than 40 books to understand what this job is about, to find a solution for redirect chains on my WordPress site, or how to use landing pages in the new Elementor PRO plugin version?
I can agree with this definition, but what does the term “usable” mean to you? Even it is not usable. So these results are not useful for understanding this job, but the research itself on how these positions lined up in the search - that’s what this job is about. It looks like the process here is more important than the content.
How Might we Understand What is Social Distance World about?
What is the value of solving many digital marketing problems?
If I am a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist, my job is more not about using the keyword research tools, but more about the research itself and understanding the findings. These results do not appear by themselves. It takes time and energy and employing a long term planning solution strategy to find a solution. So - it is not just advertising as many people think.
What Tools did I use to write this article? I am naming them below:
Semrush, and UX design tools: Organic Research, writing assessment, keywords manager, UX competitor analysis, “How Might We” questions. Now I can use only what is valuable for my job, and research what to use.
How did the research tools work, and Where I use them?
Of course, I do not say these tools do not work, but a home job has very limited options., I should be very careful. Specifically, when the time is valuable, they are very helpful, when UX designers, have an understanding what these tools are about. But tools are not solving problems by themselves.
How can these tools and books make the content relevant and useful? This question is relevant especially now, in the time of social distancing when people try to make the expenses smaller. How books are the same as online courses? How the General Assembly, Certificate of User Experience Circuit, can help to understand what my job (Content Strategist) is about?
A year ago, I participated in the Hudson Valley Hackathon in Newburgh, NY. For me, participating in 2 days of the hackathon, gave a better understanding of these tools, than 6 weeks of the General Assembly online course. Many specialists now work remotely, and if you Google hackathon, what do you expect to see?
I hope this article gives you a basic understanding, of the question of how User Experience helps to find the relevant content.
