Let's stay home, even though It’s Ramadan!
Today Friday, April 24s is the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, it’s a special day for every Muslim. Because I am an SEO specialist, first I decided to look at the definition of this month in Google.
“The first definition in Google presents it as “the ninth month of the Muslim year, ”as the month of “strict fasting”, “from sunrise to sunset.”
”
Even though it's true, for me it is not really about fasting from suhoor to iftar, it’s not what makes this month breathed and special. Even children happy to fast, they know at the end of the day there will be iftar, the reward of the hard day for every Muslim.
What makes this month special in 2020?
I can’t say fasting time during Ramadan, is an easy thing, but with brothers’ support, the day goes through easily.
How I start Ramadan in 2020?
Yesterday before I went to sleep I looked for suhoor time - it was 4:23 a.m. The time looks scary and unusual.
Even though it's not the first time in my life, 2020 Ramadan is really unusual, all in-person prayers will be canceled or online because of Pandemic.
But anyway, the day will be busy!
I am starting research for a local food store right on the first day of this month. It’s scary to think about what will be there for us during this month? We’ll pray until Eid al Fitr, with social distancing it will be hard. It’s very unusual to start working with the grocery store when all Muslims are fasting. But the local food supermarket is very helpful and blessed work in these trying times. Thank God, prophet Muhammad I have you.
