The Blessing of Days of Fasting...
This Sunday was the end of the unusual holy month of Ramadan. It has finally finished. Like other Muslims during Ramadan, I was fasting.
It is Eid, we can eat or drink today, but why are so many of us unhappy?
As for me right before the holy Ramadan month, I started working with the site and logo of the local grocery, food store Roccoroma.
What is Roccoroma at the time of Coronavirus?
Usually, during the month of Ramadan, and especially in the Eid ul Fitr, all brothers and sisters are in mosques, praying, reading, talking, and at the end of the fasting day, eating together. But this month was really different. What was unusual and different? Here are some things I experienced during this Ramadan:
All stores, events, and public places, businesses started operating online, because of the social distancing and the risk of spreading Pandemic. Even the small businesses, as the Roccoroma store, still were trying to find the cheapest solution, to work remotely, with roles of social distancing.
For me, as an SEO studio owner, with more than 20 years, Search Engine experience, this time of Pandemic was really confusing. What to say about NYC business that was working offline?
Besides that, Muslims can’t be praying and breaking fast together.
That was very strange, or confusing, especially on Laylat al Qadir night.
When my mother was cooking delicious fresh salmon bought at Roccoroma, I was missing eating it during this month of fasting. Believe me, during Ramadan, it was not easy to take photos and shoot videos of delicious dishes that mother was cooking. Taking pictures and making shot videos is a part of my strategy for the Roccoroma brand.
Why do you think it was important for me to fast and miss eating salmon or other tasty dishes during Ramadan?
For me, it is to show my understating of everyday blessing. I feel it every day when I bring fresh salmon, vegetables, cheese, and olive oil from the Roccoroma store when everybody is waiting for it online.
