Portfolio loading
These days, we've got a ton of site-builder options for web designers. Picking the right one can feel like a puzzle, especially if you're a TBI survivor: Squarespace vs WordPress, or maybe WIX? I think we should brainstorm this one. So, what does Squarespace represent for me as an SEO Strategist and for my target audience?
Make it stand out
This question marked the initial step in developing a business strategy for Memorable Design. During this time, I was just beginning to hone my skills. My primary focus was not on launching or promoting the brand yet but on building a strong foundation by enhancing my abilities. I dedicated this period to skill development, learning new techniques, and exploring tools that would help me effectively shape the brand in the future.
Make it
Tailored to the audience:
Let’s examine this drag-and-drop platform through an SEO lens. After wrapping up my UX design course at General Assembly, I launched into crafting the SEO strategy for my portfolio. I also designed a logo for my Remindable Studio.
I picked Squarespace because it effortlessly fuses aesthetic design with solid SEO tools. The platform's sleek interface and captivating templates initially caught my eye, yet it was the customizable SEO settings that truly won me over.
Squarespace delivers:
Built-In SEO Features: It streamlines SEO with options to edit meta tags, image alt texts, and URL structures that fit snugly with my strategy for boosting search visibility.
Mobile Responsiveness: All templates are mobile-ready, which is a non-negotiable for SEO. Keeping my portfolio looking sharp on every device helps with user engagement and reduces bounce rates.
Integration with Analytics: Grasping traffic patterns and user behavior is key. Squarespace’s integration with Google Analytics enables a thorough tracking of how folks interact with my site.
Performance Optimization: Quick load times are vital for both user experience and search ranking. Squarespace’s hosting and CDN services keep my site operating at peak performance.
Ultimately, Squarespace backs my design vision and amplifies my site's search engine performance, making it an excellent pick to showcase my brand strategist and SEO guru skills.
This inquiry was the first building block in crafting a business strategy for my Remindable brand strategist portfolio, which later became my company, Memorable Design. At that point, my main aim was skill enhancement, not rushing to launch the brand.

Let's chat about this together, folks. Take Squarespace, for instance—it surely nails the design game. But when it comes to Search Engine Optimization (SEO), even some pros think this platform might not be the top pick.

Crafting those page titles and meta tags can pack a punch. While I'm no wizard in Squarespace SEO, I completely relate to the hassle of dealing with broken links and repeating content—definitely not the way to shine online!

I realize a memorable day can looks like alt text to an image.
I will describe this drag and drop platform from the perspective of search engine optimization? I started work with the SEO strategy of my portfolio when I just finished the UX design course, in the General Assembly.
Which was your most memorable day ?
During that time, I created a logo for my Remindable Studio, mine SEO, branding agency.
It looks like based on my 20 years of international experience of owning an SEO studio, or a creative agency I had already known that I needed to have some search results before starting a web design. The first platform that I used to build a website was WIX.
So which site to choose, Wix or Squarespace?

How this Alt text :
Remind, the strategist of Remindable Studio idea?
That is how I started my research. I first looked for an answer in Google: I typed in a question: what site to choose to create a website portfolio?
Is Wix Posible for SEO?
“First, in the search results, I saw the WiX ad suggesting choosing a “Portfolio Template and Customizing it to Make it Your Own” Ad·www.wix.com/ Sounds great! as always if to look deeply to a WIX website “great SEO features” are also amazing. ”
Grow it.
Even with all these errors, I can’t say SEO for Squarespace not possible, my organic search results slowly growing. SEO on the Squarespace platform more than possible if you not ignoring the rules of search engines. For me, it’s one of the best graphic design solutions for a portfolio site, as well as creative agencies websites.
Connect it.
The sites look great on mobile devices, simply connects with the Google Search Console.

Let’s Compare Squarespace vs Wordpress:
Of course, it’s not so good as the famous Yoast SEO WordPress plugin. But in my opinion, no system has a professional built-in system for keyword research.
My memory about Best-seller with naming Roccoroma brand,
I have a WIX site SEO strategy that falls into simple code errors, in blog posts. Even WiX support is the best, I switch my portfolio to Squarespace whose ads are second in the search result.
““Start your free 14-day Trial” and design your portfolio with the “award-winning template” mentioned in the second Google search Ad·www.squarespace.com/ ”
Benefits of WordPress, how I become the Squarespace Circle Member?
Who is a content strategist, and what you should know in todays search engines? Sometimes not easily find an issues with broken links or duplicated content for any drag and drops platforms.
Even before I become Squarespace circle member I understand how bad it is Search engine optimization (SEO).
Understand it.
In my understanding for SEO professional it does not really changes a lot what CMS or site site-builders I have.
Change it.
It does not changes a lot Squarespace sites or WIX, my client has, different costumers has different strategies.

I heard a lot about the I heard a lot about the Squarespace Showcase template from my colleagues in my Linkedin network. Now, after more than 2 years of my portfolio building, and creating my customers' websites with this platform, I found the solution and use the benefits of Squarespace Circle, such as a 20% discount or a 6 months trial.
“This platform also has a lot of issues with SEO. For example, now we are discussing how to fix problems with duplicate meta descriptions in blog posts tags and categories pages, or why Google Analytics detected long-tail URL addresses in some pages: /contact-us/the-little-prince-review?fbclid=IwAR3pX27k02d9h9QsliIHlC4eez3si2pbhf9Hil3Xq-UgGhjqCqXyXNj8tfw ”
So what is better? It depends on your taste and love for complexities. They are different! It is like comparing apples and oranges. By the way, choose one type of fruit in Roccoroma grocery store that I recently designed.
I am using Squarespace for designing the websites for now but want to try WordPress services in the future.
It’s autumn, November I started to discover how could help me with WordPress for SEO, also I am updating my SquareSpace website. Now I realized even WordPress CMS, open-source, many WordPress themes, as well as plugins valuable only in a premium subscription.
