This day for smiling, or you are still crying?
The 8th of March is today's international women's day Is it the same for everybody? Who are your Women of today's lifestyle?
What do you think about International Women's Day? Do you think we should speak about love for our women (mothers, wives, daughters, sisters) only on Women's Day? Why not every day and on the 8th of March, too?
Celebrating the 8th of March as a Women's day really depends on where you are in the world. For example, if you are in the Caucasus region, the 8th of March is a day that reminds people of death and cry, because they still remember "the forced deportation of men and women, whole families, to the other parts of the former USSR." No Women's Day is celebrated there. I was born in central Russia and since childhood, I remember celebrating this holiday in my family, in my neighborhood, and in the country! It is a national public holiday in Russia. This was and still is a day of connection, interaction, and expression of love to the center of the family - mother. It is celebrated in the family circles with gifts, flowers, parties and expression of love to sisters, mothers, grandmothers, wives, and girl-friends. Thus, in my view, Women's Day is a special day for UX designers to bond with their clients and create individual tokens of love and connection in their families.
