Many site builders platforms advertise services these days, for web designers. It’s hard to understand which one is better to choose: Squarespace vs WordPress, or WIX. Let's think together. What is Squarespace for me as an SEO Strategist?
I will describe this drag and drop platform from the perspective of search engine optimization. I started work with the SEO strategy of my portfolio when I just finished the UX design course, in the General Assembly. During that time, I created a logo for my Remindable Studio. Many memorable logos I designed, if you need one, just ask me. It looks like based on my 20 years of international experience of owning an SEO studio I had already known that I needed to have some search results before starting a web design. The first platform that I used to build a website was WIX. Like many other website builders, WIX offers everything I need for my strategy.
As a strategist I can agree with this title tag of the home page not the best option for optimization. Even page titles and meta tags are very helpful. Even though I am not a SquareSpace SEO expert I agree broken links, as well as duplicated content are not the best option.

Even with all these errors, I can’t say SEO for Squarespace not possible, my organic search results slowly growing. SEO on the Squarespace platform more than possible if you not ignoring the rules of search engines. For me, it’s one of the best graphic design solutions for a portfolio site, as well as creative agencies websites.
Connect it.
The sites look great on mobile devices, simply connects with the Google Search Console.

Of course, it’s not so good as the famous Yoast SEO WordPress plugin. But in my opinion, no system has a professional built-in system for keyword research.
